Montezuma, Costa Rica

Trip Details
Our adventure begins on Sunday afternoon as we meet in Montezuma at the Hotel Los Mangos. We will greet you with a welcoming yoga practice followed by orientation and banquet dinner at Playa Los Artistas. Each morning we will rise with an enlivening yoga practice at our on site yoga pavilion followed by a delicious vegetarian brunch at the nearby Café Organico. Afternoons are open to exploring the area through optional activities and excursions or feel free to just soak in the mellow vibes and relax at the resort. We will close each day with a refreshing yoga practice followed by dinner all together back at Café Organico. On Tuesday and Thursday Leah and Liz will each present a short yoga program delving deeper into some of the fundamentals of yoga.

On Friday evening we will close our week together with a special dinner and ceremony back at Playa Los Artistas before we say our goodbyes Saturday morning.

About Your Instructors
Leah Lillios and Liz Workman have been cultivating their friendship both on and off the mat for the past five or more years. Introduced through their mutual love of yoga, the two formed a fast bond over their equal enthusiasm for good food, good times, travel and the great outdoors. Thus, it was decided early on that someday they would co-host yoga adventure retreats together to magical and breathtaking lands. Through their combined yoga teaching experience of 20+ years and complimentary styles, Leah and Liz create a well-balanced expedition that both challenges your body and enlivens your spirit. Join them for this enlightening journey of transformation inside and out!

Getting There & Away
Our beautiful tropical retreat is just a short walk to the charming village of Montezuma and beaches. Nearby towns and attractions include Tambor, Cobano, Cabo Blanco National Park, Curu Wildlife Reserve and Tortuga Island. Flights from the US can be booked to San Jose Juan Santamaria (SJO). To get to Montezuma there are two options: you can take a 5-hour shuttle for $40 via land and ferry. Or to save time you can take a 25-minute flight to Tambor on a small plane for $90 with an additional 30 min taxi ride from the airport. We highly recommend the second option and flying with Sansa.
